Uhuru ya'll!!

Just giving an update on last night's bowling black on black rhyme tampa style! we had a ball last night at regal lanes last night!! not that many black on black rhymers showed up last night but it was all good cause we had just enough to make up two teams of four to go head to head for the top prize (which was the looser buys drinks for the winner.) Wally B., L.I.F.E., Godbody and AM made up team one while The GREAT LIZZ STRAIGHT, J. Bizzle fo Shizzle, Dynamite Denise and Champ of the Open Category in the 4th Annual Bay Area Spoken Word Contest, J2Square made up team two!! (on the side lane little Lyfe and Asha were battling it out in the black on black rhyme brother and sister children's addition of bowling!!) The night was made most entertaining by the Dragon Ball Z like bowling skills of Godbody who amazed his teamates and all on lookers as he tippy toed in Fred Flintstone style down to the bowling lane and then threw his body into forms that can't be illustrated in words (check in a couple days for the galleria!!) each time he took his turn to bowl. After a night of pitchers of Bud, nasty pizza, children charming adults out of all their pocket change (and dollar bills), a good number of strikes and even more gutter balls, and jokes about the (latest) Roy Jones Jr. knock out, Team One ended up winning the first game and Team Two the second, making the night as balanced as it was fun!! Tonight it's "Shaker Love" at the University of South Florida starting at 9 in the Marshall Center. Holla at us ya'll!!!
